Refreshing rhubarb juice for hot summer season

It’s really hot here (in Europe, at least). And because I don’t want to drink water all the time, I’ve done one of my favourite juice for refreshing myself. It’s super easy to do and also healthy.

You’ll need:
– 4-5 rhubarb stalks
– a sharp knife
– 3 tablespoons honey
– a cooking pot
– water

Firstly, you have to wash the rhubarb stalks under water. Then, cut the stalks into small cubes.
Fill your cooking pot half with water and turn the heat on. Add the cubes into the water and put the lid on the pot. Let all together boil for around 30 minutes. Afterwards, add three spoons of honey into the mixture and stir up. (I used honey instead of sugar, becaus I want to reduce my sugar consumption.)

How to make rhubarb juice?
Let that all boil for another 20 minutes. Afterwards, you can let it cool down. Fill in some of that mixture into a glass and drink it purely. (Or you can put it in the fridge and drink it really cool.) 🙂
