It’s located in the North of Munich and you can get there easily by subway (line U3) station “Olympiazentrum”.
The Olympic Park is well known because of its tent architecture of the buildings and the Olympic Tower – wherefrom you have a great view over the whole city (its 291,28 metre high). The entrance fee for it is € 5.The park contains a lot of sport facilities, bicycle paths and the lake with a lot of different kind of birds (you are allowed to feed).
And just in case you want to see more animals – there is also an aquarium with more than 10,000 different aquatic animals.
Look at this sunset and it´s totally free. You have to walk a bit up the Olympic Hill – it’s over 50 metres (150 feet) high – but totally worth it. You can even see the Alps in the background.
